Is Loca the Pug Still Alive

Loca the Pug is not alive anymore, as says the obituary message on her Facebook page.  Living in Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland, this dog rose to fame in 2012 after a video of her went viral under the caption Loca ‘The pug that couldn’t run”. It featured Loca trying to run but eventually limping, rolling, falling, and toppling, while the song in the background devised by her parents portrayed her condition. Such an encouraging endeavor charmed many, with the video getting over 16 million views in no time. Her condition was the outcome of a mild brain disorder that took a toll on her physical mobility.

She passed away on the 20th of October 2017 after suffering from an epileptic fit.
